Dr. Frank Cimato graduated from Stony Brook University, in Stony Brook NY with a degree in the area of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He is loved and adored by all his patients because he truly is an example of great dental chair-side manner with a twist of humor and a strong and connective character. Dr. Cimato is proficient in all phases of dentistry including advanced endodontics (in which he excels), complex crowns and bridges, cosmetic and implant dentistry, and laser dentistry. Dr Shadan Torabi graduated from New York University achieving a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Torabi has an eclectic yet calming personality. She offers a wide variety of cosmetic dental services including metal free dental crowns, dental implant solutions (with a focus on complex hybrid cases), laser dentistry and endodontics. Born and raised in Iran, Dr. Torabi has a keen eye for detail and meticulous style, which shows when you enter her Greenwich and Darien Connecticut offices. Both were newly built in 2022 and are designed to satisfy the most discerning Dental patient. Besides improving her patient’s dental health, her favorite part of practicing dentistry is working with talented and energetic people like her office manager and dental assistant. I am so grateful to Dr. Torabi, Angela, and all of the staff at Harbor Point Dental in Darien. I had to have a root canal and extra care for my teeth and they were so kind. Dr Torabi is amazing! I’m already a nervous wreck when getting dental work, but seeing Dr Torabi for my work was the best experience I have had. I always feel the injection when getting numb, when she did it felt nothing!! She talked to me throughout the whole process. My daughter in law recommended me to her and I will let the world know to go see her! My husband has also scheduled appointments with her.

When I first searched for a dentist, Dr. Cimato got extremely good reviews and I was excited to go for my checkup and cleaning with my husband.When we get there, my cleaning was great, the receptionist is lovely, and I’m seen by Dr. Torabi. I thought I would have been seen by Dr. Cimato, so I was a bit confused.However, things went south for my husband. He was seen by Dr. Torabi as well. He had to have a root canal done, along with 2 crowns.What angered me was the fact that when my husband goes in for the 2 crowns, SHE makes the mistake of letting the “cement dry too quickly”. This inconvenienced us greatly, as we did not live close by, and he now had to go back due to HER mistake. He was in daily pain due to her having worked on his teeth, and had to constantly take more Advil.The icing on the cake was when he went in for what was supposed to be his final appointment, and Dr. Torabi did not even bother to take a look at the state of his crowns PRIOR to injecting him with needles to numb him. After numbing him, she looks at his crowns and tells him he doesn’t need the new crown she had said she needed to replace after all…. Therefore, he made the trip there for nothing. He got numbed for nothing.What a JOKE. I have NEVER experienced a dentist this terrible. She caused us GREAT INCONVENIENCES and he is still in pain.I would not recommend her to anyone!!!!Harbor Point is not to blame. I am disappointed at the fact that we were unfortunate enough to get paired up with her for dental work.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this Dentist Dr. Torabi. In the past 3 months I have taken 3 trips from Hamden to Darien for nothing, first my replacement crown came out 8 hours after being put in so I had to go back right away, next when I was getting the real crowns the cement on one dried to quick so she had to order another one, so I come back and she gives me the numbing needles before even checking my mouth then flosses my teeth and says it opened up so I don’t need the new crown. Also water was spilled all down the back of my shirt, in my 49 years I have never had an experience this bad at any doctors or dentist appointment!
Dr Amato was great with my 16 year old son! He had chipped his tooth and he fixed it. It was perfect! Very happy with the results!
The front desk is terrible but the dentist is great. Always an unpleasant experience at the front desk - highly uncouth and brazen. Always leave you with a bad taste.
I can't say enough good things about my hygienist, Angela Gromko. She is incredible at what she does! Not only did she give my teeth the best cleaning they've ever had, but she also managed to fit me into her packed schedule without making me feel rushed. Angela's attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for her patients are truly exceptional. If you're looking for top-notch dental care, I highly recommend Angela!
I would like to say that the experiences my husband and I had yesterday at Harbor Point Dental in Darien were by far the best we have ever had at any previous dental office in our 80+ years!!!!!! My Dad and my uncle were both dentists and I have always had enormous respect for this profession. The staff, facility and office with its state-of-the art equipment really "blew us away"!!! It really was for the doctor, his dental hygienist, the dental assistant and the receptionist something of which to be very proud!!!

If I could give 100 stars I would as I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Cimato as my dentist and he is the definition of professionalism but yet so down to earth that my fear of dental work went away. Finding a good dentist’s office is hard. I really love this place. It’s modern, clean, well-located, and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. I’ve been twice for routine cleanings and have had a great experience each time. Highly recommended!!

love love this place! Warm people. During child birth I cracked 2 teeth. So 5 years ago my former dentist in NY kept urging me to get my bridge and implant done but I was not comfortable with the idea of having them do it. Then we moved here in Darien and found Harbor Point Dental. Sarah is super awesome, she goes out of her way to help as much as she can especially speeding up pre approvals. Jennette took care of our family and was the one who convinced me to get my bridge and implant done. Dr Greco’s thorough explanation about the procedure matched with his gentle hands just sealed that deal and yesterday 12/29/23 I got my beautiful bridge put in by him. My molar cracked on the weekend and the next day my, Wonderful dentist, Md Cimato fit me in for a 1 pm visit. He put a temporary in and in two weeks I will have a new crown. I have to thank Sarah the office manager also for making it happen. No matter which location Stanford or Darien the team Rocks! No fear of dental appointments when you see Md Cimato.
