Dr. Frank Cimato graduated from Stony Brook University, in Stony Brook NY with a degree in the area of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He is loved and adored by all his patients because he truly is an example of great dental chair-side manner with a twist of humor and a strong and connective character. Dr. Cimato is proficient in all phases of dentistry including advanced endodontics (in which he excels), complex crowns and bridges, cosmetic and implant dentistry, and laser dentistry. In addition, Dr. Cimato has been praised by hundreds of patients for his skill, precision, proficiency and artistic ability to create confident and vibrant smiles using veneers. In his spare time, you can find Dr. Cimato enjoying still photography, coaching and playing basketball, spending time with his family and raising his two very handsome young boys. As you can imagine, he is also an avid foodie. An interesting tidbit about Dr. Cimato is that prior to his Dental school life, he had a career in Entertainment. His favorite quote is by Steve Jobs and is one he exemplifies daily. It reflects, “If you are working on something that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.”
Dr Shadan Torabi graduated from New York University achieving a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Torabi has an eclectic yet calming personality. She offers a wide variety of cosmetic dental services including metal free dental crowns, dental implant solutions (with a focus on complex hybrid cases), laser dentistry and endodontics. Born and raised in Iran, Dr. Torabi has a keen eye for detail and meticulous style, which shows when you enter her Greenwich and Darien Connecticut offices. Both were newly built in 2022 and are designed to satisfy the most discerning Dental patient. Besides improving her patient’s dental health, her favorite part of practicing dentistry is working with talented and energetic people like her office manager and dental assistant. Dr. Torabi is licensed to practice dentistry in New York and Connecticut. Currently her focus lies in the success of her new offices. Given the time to enjoy other interests, Dr. Torabi would love to continue to pursue travel, horseback riding, and tennis. After months of trying dentists and researching qualifications of practices in Greenwich, since my great doctor is Fairfield was just too far a trip to continue esp if there was an emergency, I landed with God's direction at Harbor Point Dental Greenwich and scheduled a cleaning, [which Sally and Janet were fabulous], and upon a check up with Dr. Frank Cimato I learned a root canal was necessary. Yesterday I had the procedure done and it was the VERY best treatment I have had in a long time. I say this because my situation is different as everyone's is - but Dr. Cimato is so knowledgeable and dedicated to his work that his care and compassion shines. I have zero discomfort today and I know I am in great hands going forth. Thank you all for welcoming me so warmly and the staff is TOP NOTCH beginning with Ana who welcomes you with open arms and comfort - she is the glue of the practice, a woman with many hats, Sally, Janet, Elizabeth, Ryan .. and of course the Mentor of All Dr. Cimato. Have been searching for the perfect dental office and dentist for a while. Harbor Point Dental in Greenwich is about 2 miles from my home. They took my insurance, and I was able to have an appointment booked less than a week after I called. Dr. Torabi is my new dentist, and she is wonderful! She took her time with me, explaining everything without making me feel silly for asking questions. Anna, the receptionist, was friendly and knowledgeable about all procedures. Elizabeth took my personal information and did x-rays and my mouth impressions; Ryan did some high tech CAT scans on my teeth! Smooth sailing from beginning to end, friends! I wholeheartedly believe you'll love them as much as I do. Oh! Almost forgot. There is another Harbor Point location close by in Stamford! Tell them Lynn sent you!
Not a good experience in this office with a female dentist. The hygienist was out that day so Dr did my teeth cleaning herself and it was horrible. Never had cleaning this painful and she had a nerve to say that my gums were not healthy and that’s why there was so much bleeding and my gums ARE healthy! Plus they made up almost 2K worth of work on my teeth (out of pocket) which, after seeing another dentist this past March, ended up being all not true. I rarely need any dental work done as I’m lucky to have inherited good teeth and I take care of my teeth very well, that’s why that 2K bill and “unhealthy gums” diagnosis came as such a shock. I felt that they push a lot of unnecessary fancy new products on you. The Dr. made me watch a video on the TV screen while I was sitting in a chair about some product she wanted me to agree to and when I said ‘no’ to that product and a few more products that she was pushing on me, she was obviously annoyed. So unprofessional. I won’t be back.
I am very concerned about the care I received here. My mouth was on fire after the service and It looked like I had open wounds on my top gums. I have never had this experience at the dentist before, despite religiously going every 6 months.
I was not informed that I have “enflamed gums” until after a shotty cleaning experience. It felt like the doctor was sticking the cleaning tool directly into my gums. No wonder they are enflamed. I have never bled like that in my life at the dentist, and am honestly shocked by the experience. It felt very calculated to get money out of my later.
I have also never had a dentist say to me to “get ready for a shower” when going through a cleaning. They usually know how to use the tools and keep the experience clean and dry.
I also feel like I was psychologically tricked into paying your practice almost $300 for a gum issue I have never in my life heard from any other doctor. Saying you would give me “free” x-rays despite sharing x-rays from my old doctor, and then not giving me any think time before doing a procedure is not normal practice in my experience, and I have moved a lot and had many dentists. Again, I have never had this experience with any of them before.
I obviously will not be back, and still cannot believe the reviews they have on Google. I hope they think long and hard about this “business” you are running, vs. a doctors office that should be there for the patient and their care.

I can say with confidence that Dr. Torabi is the best dentist I’ve ever had. She is very accommodating and talks you through what the plan is moving forward. She is very thorough and has the best interest in her patients. Couldn’t recommend a better dentist. Also, the Greenwich office is very clean and inviting. Highly recommended.

Had a root canal procedure done on 12/26, both staff and doctor were EXCEPTIONAL! I can not recommend this place enough!
Due to insurance, the dentist was not able to start work on a crown for my broken tooth. The approval from insurance takes 6 to 8 weeks. Considering this is for a broken tooth. I was very disappointed. All the people in the office were very nice.

I am not sure my son even got a proper cleaning as he was rushed in and out of his appt in 15 minutes - and we arrived on time. I’ve never experienced a dental cleaning and X-rays take less than 45 min. Further, the dentist tried to get me to pay for things that were not covered by my insurance and not really needed. I had to say “no” a few times and felt like she was upset that I didn’t want to pay out of pocket for the additional $700 of charges (molars being sealed). I gave two stars instead of one because the offices are nice and comfortable, but the service was sub par. We will not go back.
Great personable staff, incredibly well organized and top-notch expertise. I started using them in Stamford but was thrilled when they expanded to the Greenwich location. This newer location is very well designed, comfortable and the logistics are very efficient for getting in and out quickly - the parking garage is convenient in all weather, the elevators are nearly no-wait, and the staff adapts as needed. I'm a huge fan of my dentist's approach, her deep expertise and her ability to assemble a great team.
Dr.Torabi is amazing,in my 54 years of going to a dentist,never have I had a painless experiance. You cannot go wrong using her.

Your First Dental Visit
Routine dental exams are a big part of maintaining a healthy smile at our Harbor Point Dental at Darien CT. We offer comprehensive dental exams for the entire family as part of our preventative dentistry program for patients in Darien and nearby neighborhoods. At each exam, we check for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, oral cancer, and other potential problems that require treatment. X-Rays of your mouth may also be taken during your dental exam. We provide digital X-Rays that immediately produce a computerized image that can be viewed during your visit here in our Harbor Point Dental at Darien CT location, on our computer screens in each operatory.
Preventative Dental Care
During your initial examination, we will look for common warning signs of periodontal disease and evaluate the condition of the gums, noting any recession, bleeding, or bone loss. We will also evaluate your risk factors for gum disease, such as diabetes, smoking, and the use of certain medications. If you do exhibit signs of gum disease, we will create a customized treatment plan to reduce the infection and reverse the progression of the disease. Unlike other practices that refer you elsewhere for periodontal treatment, Harbor Point Dental Group has an experienced periodontist on staff who is also available.
