I just had my second appointment with harbor point dental and am very pleased with their service and attention to detail! The receptionist is always friendly and the waiting area is comfortable. I only waited 10 minutes before seeing my dental hygienist, Dalma, who I cannot say enough nice things about. She was extremely kind, a good communicator, and she was very diligent during my cleaning. She also constantly made sure I was comfortable during the cleaning. After the appointment was complete, Dalma reminded me of all of the things I needed to keep up with in order to maintain healthy teeth. She then walked me over to the receptionist to make sure I got a follow up appointment as needed. Overall, in my 2 appointments with harbor point dental I have had a very pleasant experience and I will be coming back regularly.
My first time at Harbor Dental and not my last! Super impressed by the service and attention they give to their patients. I walked in and was greeted very kindly, they seated me and I barely waited! My dental hygienist, Dalma, was extremely kind and made sure I was always comfortable during the cleaning. After it was done she made sure I was informed on all of the things I needed to be careful of regarding my smile and how to keep it healthy. She gave me a referral as well to an orthodontist! It was a very pleasant experience and I will be coming back regularly.
My first visit I got was pleasant and great. However, I had a different dental hygienist during my second visit. During the duration of my visit she offered me 3 different additional services not included by my insurance. I could tell she was trying to push me to do each one, I politely declined. Each time I declined the hygienist seemed to get more offended. The last offer was to push teeth whitening on me, I’m 27, have no cavities and get compliments on how white my teeth are.I’ve never experienced such a push to upsell at a dentist and the negative response of declining.Unfortunate this makes me question if I ever had problems with my teeth, if they would unethically suggest the most profitable procedure for the corporation. And based on my last experience, I feel that is what they would do.Update 8.5.24- there are no lapses in my insurance for regular dental coverage and the response from the company below is false. I was not charged anything extra. They also never reached out on the issue.
This dental office is a God send. The front desk is extremely attentive and polite and Dr. Milo has the softest touch when he does a cleaning, and still being very thorough. Definitely come here for anything you need.
Looking for a dental office that isnt going to take advantage of you is very difficult. Feom the moment I called to achedule my appointments, walking in to meet all these friendly smiling faces and then getting the best cleaning I ever had by Janet, they got themselves a forever patient. Carmen the manager was full of information, I completely understand my insurance and when I had more questions the hygienist came and answered them. I a thousand percent recommend!!
I recently had a fantastic experience at Habor Point Dental in Stamford. Janette, my hygienist, was exceptionally skilled and made the entire process smooth and comfortable. The office is modern and well-maintained, and the front desk staff Sara and Carmen were very friendly and professional. Janette took the time to explain everything and provided excellent care. I can’t rave enough about this office and the hygienist Janette! That was the best cleaning and overall experience ever. I am super impressed on how the front desk staff helped me and answered my million questions. Especially, how patient Yesenia was when I was checking in! I definitely will recommend Janette to my family.
Office delayed my appointment 4 times by sending the incorrect information to insurance (per my insurer) and now what was supposed to be a crown replacement has turned into a full blown root canal.
***WARNING****Scam artistsI went in for a cleaning. I was charged hundreds of dollars for X-rays , and other services I never agreed to. When I asked if the services being done to me are under the visit of a cleaning, I was told yes and not to worry about it. I ended up with a $600 dollar bill for a simple cleaning, and the same thing happened for my wife. Since the moment they start working on you they try everything to upcharge you and sell their dental products because “you really need these and you can’t find these anywhere else” even after telling them multiple times I’m not interested in their $50 toothpaste they still proceeded to push things on me.I will absolutely be fighting this bill and spreading awareness of this office ripping people off without their knowledge

I went to Harbor Point Dental for cleaning and cavity fillings. I absolutely love this dental office. The staff are caring professionals. It is a very clean/ state of the art modern dental office. Their equipment and dental tools are high quality and high tech. I had my teeth cleaned by Dalma who was very kind and did an amazing job. I had 3 cavities filled by Dr. Greco who is kind, and did an excellent job!
This place is absolutely amazing. Having moved from New York to Connecticut six years ago, I have struggled to find a dentist that will take my husband’s local New York Engineering insurance, as a result, my family and I would take the trip to New York to have our dental needs taken care of. When my crown fell out, I had to find a local dentist; it took me days because the dentist near me either stopped taking my husband‘s insurance or the reviews were horrible. After calling about 20 places, the last option in Connecticut was Harbor-point. Not only did they take my husband’s insurance, they saw me the same day! The front desk staff, big shout out to Carmen, were so nice and so friendly. The female doctor who saw me, I do not remember her name, she was so nice and friendly; had a needle didn’t even feel the pain! It is state of the art waiting area, high-tech equipment, multitude of parking; where has this place been on my life! My husband, my daughter and I have found a new dentist. It is so worth the trip on 95.!
I'm a new patient and my experience was excellent. Shoutout to my dental hygienist Dalma, who was so genuinely caring and took the time to explain every step of my treatment to ensure I was comfortable and clear on what was being done and what would be covered by insurance or not. She also recommended new products I could use to enhance my dental health. Dalma is amazing and I will be recommending her to all my friends and family.
I’ve now had 3 bad experiences with this dental practice. I’ve given them opportunities to make things right but they just have not. My first appointment was for a basic cleaning and a chipped tooth. I made the appointment over my lunch hour because they’re so close to me and when I asked if that was enough time, I was told the appointment would be 40 minutes. I got there and checked in and was left waiting for 45 minutes. Staff repeatedly walked out to the waiting room and just ignored me. I finally went to the front desk twice but by the time I got seen, I no longer had time for a cleaning which they kept blaming on me saying “you really should get a cleaning”. Yeah, well I made the appointment for a cleaning and you left me sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes!!!!!! The dentist who fixed my tooth made it too tight. It’s still not right FYI. Also the cleaning was incredibly painful with sharp objects. I’ve never experienced that. The Hygienist blamed it on my sensitive teeth. No, I’ve never had pain in a cleaning before, it was the sharp objects. I called to go back for the tooth being too tight. Again, I was NOT believed. The dentist then proceeded to torture me with a drill without any numbing to smooth the tooth. Despite me repeatedly explaining that it was not unsmooth, it was too tight, she got mad and brought in another dentist who aggressively drilled some more hitting my nerves. So now it’s too tight and the tooth is drilled down to a small nob and it was a traumatic experience. It just needed to be given more space between. I was told in my cleaning one of my implants was infected and to make an appointment in 6 weeks. If it’s infected, why wait 6 weeks? They said they’d call my insurance company and get an estimate. I never heard from them. Then I got an email saying I had an appointment with them and to confirm it. I did not confirm it and called them. Most of the time no one answers their phone and it goes to voice mail. I left a message saying I’d never received a co pay estimate and to please call me. No one called me back. I replied to the email and no one called me back. I left another message saying to just cancel the appointment. I then got a call the time of the unconfirmed, canceled appointment and she said “we still haven’t gotten an estimate on your co pay so you’ll have to pay out of pocket”. Ummmm, no! Why does it take 6 weeks to get a co pay estimate? They just didn’t call my insurance. I’m surprised this place has gotten so many positive reviews. All of my experiences at this place have been awful and poorly handled. The tooth that was chipped that they “repaired” bothers me more now bc they made it too tight and refused to listen to me. If I have an infected implant and they just left it hanging, that seems like negligence to me. I’m beyond disappointed by my experiences here. They don’t listen, they don’t follow through or take responsibility and the repair I had done is not great and they never got an estimate on cleaning my implant. Those are not the qualities I want in a Dentist.

By far the best dental group I've ever been a patient of! The office staff is friendly and welcoming. The office itself is nicely appointed and comfortable. I love their Stamford location in the historic Yale and Towne buildings. All of the hygienists are great, but I have to give a special shout out to Angela; she recently completed my cleaning and she was impressive! She taught me things about flossing that I had never heard in my many years of cleanings. I appreciated Angela's calm demeanor, generous compliments about my smile, and her compassion for the job; I don't think I've ever felt so calm and comfortable in the chair. Thank you, Angela, and the entire team at Harbor Point Dental!

I HATE the dentist. Even though I hate it I do make sure to go every 6 months. When I didn't go for a year I knew I had some issues to attend to. Dr.C and his dental assistant (can't remember his name) made me feel SO comfortable that even though i was having bad anxiety in the chair they assured me time after time that i'm in good hands & that they'll get me fixed up! I will be going to them for the foreseeable future!!

I have tried a few different dental offices in Stamford and was blown away by the service and knowledge of the staff at Harbor Point Dental.I had a cleaning with Angela, the hygienist, and she was absolutely incredible - I've never felt more interested and engaged by what is going on with my teeth!! She was a complete pleasure who made even the painful stuff feel empowering.On top of that, her and the whole staff, were so informative and helpful when it came to what my insurance would cover and how I could keep costs down for anything that wasn't covered. I also met with Dr. Petrin and she had such a calming demeanor. The facilities were gorgeous and well kept up, everyone was top knotch -- can't recommend the Stamford Harbor Dental office enough!

Dr. Cimato and his staff make visiting the dentist a pleasant experience, they are not only professional but make you feel like you are part of a family. They are very straightforward in explaining the treatment and cost, so there is no mystery. And I have never experienced a more gentle & kind dentist who cares about the well being of his patients.
Dr. Petrin is amazing! She has excellent bedside manner and is very thorough. Having "dentalphobia" as a kid, she made my experience very pleasant and truly cares about her patients. Highly recommend seeing Dr. Petrin.
First And foremost, Dr: Cimato is already one of my faves. So me and my husband. was stayed in CA for 1 year and I accidenatlly broke my Crown there . Dr. Cimato and his team was nice enough to redo it for free because we didnt have insurance anymore . He always advocate for his patients.
Had an emergency and Dr. Cimato was able to see me the same day. I was in immense pain and extremely anxious, and Dr. Cimato made me feel comfortable and at ease. His bedside manner was professional and courteous with just a hint of humor to take the edge off. He made me feel at ease. The front desk staff were also A+, smiling and helpful.

The first time at this group. I saw Dr Greco and he was excellent! I have been an RN for 40 years and I so appreciated his professionalism and excellent skills. I had a cracked tooth that needed immediate care and he did exactly what was necessary. Trust is so important in health and I am so glad I found this group practice and Dr. Greco. The whole staff was very courteous as well.

Highly qualified and always in a good mood dentist, Dr. Cimato, who makes you feel like family and meticulous hygienists who know your teeth better then you do, coupled with highly competent/excellent secretaries who text you ahead of time so you don’t forget your appointment equals a highly satisfied customer. The center is run like clock work and are always on time. You won’t be sitting in their lovely loft complete with coffee machine and refreshments, waiting room with a huge salt water aquarium checking all your emails and text messages waiting to be called. Everything is state of the art, decorated extraordinarily nice and more importantly spotless and super clean. As a new patient of Dr. Cimato, I am extremely pleased with my experience at Harbor Point Dental. He is truly the best dentist I’ve ever had. Dr. Cimato is professional, personal and extremely transparent. He thoroughly explains your dental condition, procedure and cost before performing any services. I’ve been butchered and taken advantage of by previous dentists. So far, in less than 2 months, Dr. Cimato has my teeth on their way to recovery! The front office staff are pleasant and always calls to squeeze you in if there are cancellations. One day I showed up with no appointment because my tooth was hurting. Dr. Cimato squeezed me in and did a root canal so I would not stay in pain. He is the only dentist that I met that walks every patient out. He literally walks you to the front door! Vicky at checkout was so helpful and informative. Janet the hygienist gave me the best cleaning and was so detailed. This is now the dental office I will go to from now on!
I have been coming to this dentist's office for many years. Will never go anyplace else ever again. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and always in good mood. They don't take advantage of you. They do what's best for your needed. They give you different options to choices from. If your looking for a great dentist office this is it.
This place is more interested in extracting money out of my pockets. Didn't feel that they really cared and are being genuine.Horrible treatment. I was asked to pay right in the middle of a cleaning session. They didn't tell me before starting the job!Despite of going with a comprehensive dental insurance, they find ways to make you pay by offering things that aren't covered! Like some exclusive xrays, extra deep cleaning, etc.All this on my well maintained tooth that really had no issues but was there to get my annual cleanup. I can only imagine how much they would charge to those who are in real need.Find an other place who is genuine and not act just like a commercial business.

I had Emily as my Dental Hygienist today and she was amazing! As soon as I stepped into the office I instantly felt at home, as the administrative staff was so welcoming. Emily was very prompt and very thorough in her work, and not to mention I didn't have a long waiting time either. I appreciated the time Emily took to educate me as a patient. So often, I've run into the case of Dentists, Doctors, Hygienists, etc. not taking the time to explain the procedures and work they would be doing. Emily provided a detailed description of her work and what medications/antibiotics she prescribed and what they were specifically for. She made sure I had all of this information and ensured that I left with actual knowledge of how to care for my teeth moving forward.Overall, my experience was great and I look forward to my next visit at Harbor Point Dental!

Your First Dental Visit
Routine dental exams are a big part of maintaining a healthy smile at our Harbor Point dental office location. We offer comprehensive dental exams for the entire family as part of our preventative dentistry program for patients in Stamford and nearby neighborhoods. At each exam, we check for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, oral cancer, and other potential problems that require treatment. X-rays of your mouth may also be taken during your dental exam. We provide digital x-rays that immediately produce a computerized image that can be viewed during your visit here in our Harbor Point dental location on our computer screens in each operatory.

It includes at-home dental care, as well as scheduling routine dental care visits and education by our professional dental staff in our dental office. Routine dental exams are a big part of maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
Preventative Dental Care
During your initial examination, we will look for common warning signs of periodontal disease and evaluate the condition of the gums, noting any recession, bleeding, or bone loss. We will also evaluate your risk factors for gum disease, such as diabetes, smoking, and the use of certain medications. If you do exhibit signs of gum disease, we will create a customized treatment plan to reduce the infection and reverse the progression of the disease. Unlike other practices that refer you elsewhere for periodontal treatment, Harbor Point Dental Group has an experienced periodontist on staff who is also available.
